Troubleshooting
Can't connect, kicked on join, mods out of date, stuck in the queue, crashed mid-raid — what each one usually is and what to do.

Most problems are one of the six below. If yours isn't, open a ticket in Discord with what you saw on screen — replies can take up to 24 hours, and complaining about the wait in chat closes the ticket.
Kicked on connect: a mod is missing or out of date#
The server checks every mod you load against its own list, and one mismatch is a kick. Close DayZ, restart the DZSA Launcher, and join again — it re-checks and updates the mods each time. If it keeps happening, in the launcher's settings clear the mod cache and let it verify the collection. The server isn't in the list, or shows as offline#
It restarts every three hours on the hour, Central time, and is gone from the list for a few minutes each time. Wait five minutes and refresh. Restarts.
Stuck in the queue#
The server is full. Leave the launcher waiting and it joins when a slot opens. Restarting the launcher puts you at the back.
BattlEye kicked me#
A BattlEye kick names the reason on screen. "Client not responding" is your connection; "Corrupted data" or a script restriction usually means a mod didn't download properly — verify the collection in the launcher. A BattlEye ban is not a kick and is not something staff can lift.
I crashed mid-raid#
Rejoin immediately. Your character is still standing where you crashed — for 30 s, or 5 min if you were in a fight — and getting back into it is the only way to protect it. Death, logout and combat logging.
The game runs badly#
The mod collection is large and the map is full. Lower the view distance and object detail first, and make sure DayZ is installed on an SSD; the mod pack loading from a hard drive is the single most common cause of stutter. The field-of-view slider has a wider range here than in vanilla, and a narrower field of view costs less.
I lost gear to a bug#
Open a ticket with a clip. Compensation needs video showing the items and the whole event; there are situations where none is given. Server rules. Using a bug rather than reporting it is a ban.
